Focussing on visible light active ferrites for high performance removal of noxious pollutants, we report the synthesis of Mg0.5NixZn0.5-xFe2O4 (x = 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, & 0.5) ferrite nanoparticle for degradation of reactive blue-19 (RB-19). Lattice parameters calculated using intense X-ray diffraction (XRD) peaks and Nelson-Riley plots (N-R plot) are in well agreement with each other. The sample Mg0.5Ni0.4Zn0.1Fe2O4 (M5N4) exhibits best performance with 99.5% RB-19 degradation in 90 min under visible light. Photoluminescence (PL) results confirm that recombination of charge carriers is highly reduced in the photocatalyst. Scavenging experiments suggest that O2 radicals were the dominant species responsible for photocatalytic performance. The photocatalytic mechanism was explained in terms of dopant driven shifting of conduction bands and valence bands (calculated by Mott-Schottky plots). The thermodynamic probability of radical generation along with role of redox cycles of metal ions has been discussed in the mechanism. The dye degradation was ascertained by detection of intermediates via mass spectrometry analysis and a possible degradation route was also predicted. The findings in this work provide intriguing opportunities to modify the electronic band structure of spinel ferrites for visible and solar light photocatalytic activity for environmental detoxification.  相似文献

半导体激光器(LD)工作在空间辐射或核辐射环境中时,会受到辐照损伤的影响而导致器件性能退化。文章回顾了不同时期研制的LD(从早期的GaAs LD到量子阱LD和量子点LD)在辐照效应实验方面的研究进展,梳理了国际上开展不同辐射粒子或射线(质子、中子、电子、伽马射线)诱发LD辐射敏感参数退化的实验规律,分析总结了当前LD辐照效应实验方法研究中亟待解决的关键技术问题,为今后深入开展LD的辐照效应实验方法、退化规律、损伤机理及抗辐射加固技术研究提供理论指导和实验技术支持。  相似文献

为使公众能自行探测所处环境的辐射水平,本文利用PIN光电二极管直接测量X/γ射线的原理研制了便携式环境辐射探测系统,该系统采用智能终端控制探测设备。其中,探测模块中设计了弱信号放大电路,控制和通信模块的设计基于无线微控制器。该环境辐射探测器具有低成本、低功耗、体积小、易使用、易组网等特点。经国防科技工业电离辐射一级计量站检定,探测器各项指标均符合国家剂量仪鉴定规程JJG 521-2006的要求。  相似文献

Influence of light on the chroma of low pressure hydrogenation aviation kerosene was studied using different lights (ultraviolet light, infrared light, sunlight and no light) in the same environment full of oxygen. UV light with short wavelength has the largest influence. Coloring substances were isolated by adsorption on neutral alumina followed by ether extraction and identified by using infrared spectrum, elemental analysis and two-dimensional GC-MS. Oxygen-containing compounds are main coloring substances. Light can provide the required energy to convert unsaturated hydrocarbons and heteroatom compounds to phenols, quinones and ketones.  相似文献

Preparation of cupric oxide-silicon dioxide nanoparticles was carried out using a sol-gel method. Cupric oxide-silicon dioxide nanoparticles were decorated by different weight percent of platinum (0.5, 1.0, 3.0 and 5.0 wt %) using method of photoassisted deposition. XRD remarks revealed that XRD patterns for all samples are composed of cupric oxide. Therefore, silicon dioxide is amorphous and decoration of cupric oxide-silicon dioxide nanoparticles by platinum has no effect on the formed phase. Also, due to low percent of platinum there are no peaks for platinum oxide or platinum. Cupric oxide has bandgap energy absorb in visible region but has high e-h recombination rate. Decoration of cupric oxide-silicon dioxide nanoparticles by platinum was decreased bandgap energy from 2.38 to 1.91 eV and also decrease rate of e-h recombination rate. The photocatalytic activity of platinum decorated cupric oxide-silicon dioxide nanoparticles was measured under visible light for Acridine orange dye degradation. 100% of Acridine orange dye can be degraded using 3.0 wt % of platinum decorated cupric oxide-silicon dioxide photocatalyst, 1.2 g/L dose of platinum decorated cupric oxide-silicon dioxide photocatalyst and 30 min reaction time. 3.0 wt % of platinum decorated cupric oxide-silicon dioxide photocatalyst has photocatalytic stability for five times.  相似文献

Color appearance models were developed to characterize the color attributes of stimuli under different viewing conditions based on data collected through magnitude estimation or color matching experiments. Although human beings experience very high light levels under daylight and the reproduction of colors under daylight is important in the color and imaging industries, the existing color appearance models were developed based on the data that were collected under the conditions with luminance levels below 700 cd/m2 due to the lack of facilities to produce stable illumination at high light levels. A recent study investigating color preference of an artwork under a wide range of light levels from 20 to 15 000 lx suggested that CIECAM02 cannot accurately characterize the color appearance under extremely high light levels. This study was designed to directly test the performance of CIECAM02 from 100 to 3500 cd/m2. Human observers performed color match for four hues under a series pairs of adapting conditions with a haploscopic viewing condition. It was found that CIECAM02 had the best performance in characterizing the hue angles but the worse performance in characterizing the brightness with a maximum underprediction around 200% across a wide range of luminance. This was mainly due to the fact that CIECAM02 was developed based on the data collected under relatively low adapting luminance levels. The color appearance model that was proposed to use the adapting luminance levels in characterizing the cone compression in the postadaptation process was found to have a much better performance in characterizing the brightness.  相似文献

The solar light sensitive g-C3N4/TiO2 heterojunction photocatalysts containing 20, 50, 80, and 90 wt% graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) were prepared by growing Titania (TiO2) nanoparticles on the surfaces of g-C3N4 particles via one step hydrothermal process. The hydrothermal reactions were allowed to take place at 110 °C at autogenous pressure for 1 h. Raman spectroscopy analyses confirmed that an interface developed between the surfaces of TiO2 and g-C3N4 nanoparticles. The photocatalyst containing 80 wt% g-C3N4 was subsequently heat treated 1 h at temperatures between 350 and 500 °C to improve the photocatalytic efficiency. Structural and optical properties of the prepared g-C3N4/TiO2 heterojunction nanocomposites were compared with those of the pristine TiO2 and pristine g-C3N4 powders. Photocatalytic activity of all the nanocomposites and the pristine TiO2 and g-C3N4 powders were assessed by the Methylene Blue (MB) degradation test under solar light illumination. g-C3N4/TiO2 heterojunction photocatalysts exhibited better photocatalytic activity for the degradation of MB than both pristine TiO2 and g-C3N4. The photocatalytic efficiency of the g-C3N4/TiO2 heterojunction photocatalyst heat treated at 400 °C for 1 h is 1.45 times better than that of the pristine TiO2 powder, 2.20 times better than that of the pristine g-C3N4 powder, and 1.24 times better than that of the commercially available TiO2 powder (Degussa P25). The improvement in photocatalytic efficiency was related to i) the generation of reactive oxidation species induced by photogenerated electrons, ii) the reduced recombination rate for electron-hole pairs, and iii) large specific surface area.  相似文献

Digital light processing (DLP) has been studied and developed in the field of three-dimensional (3D) printing in recent years due to its fast curing rate and high resolution. To reduce the cost and viscosity of the resin system, the aromatic polyurethane acrylates (PUAs) were used as oligomer. The matrix resin called PUH2 consists of oligomers (PUA, bisphenol A polyoxyethylene ether dimethyl acrylate) and active diluents (hydroxyethyl acrylate, hydroxyethyl methacrylate). However, the photosensitive resin containing aromatic isocyanate groups was easily yellowed under ultraviolet light. In this article, we developed a resin for DLP 3D printing with yellowing resistance, excellent mechanical properties and high heat resistance. The optimal ratio of 3DP-PUH2 resin was PUH2/TPO/RYOJI-292/dye/nanosilica = 100/5/0.4/0.01/0.1, and its viscosity was 500 cp, which is suitable for DLP 3D printing. © 2019 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J.
